Singing Outdoors with Elizabeth Swift – More than the Words and Music
Saturday 30 March @ 4:30 pm - 7:30 pm£55
Singing is good for us. Singing outside takes all the benefits of community singing and combines them with nature-connection!
We will practise techniques for involving people we work with; learn new songs, and find ways to easily embed singing in our Forest School practice.
Equally suitable for those who lead Forest School, those who enjoy a good sing, and those who are not confident with their singing voices but would like to know more. All voices are welcome.
We will be sharing some ideas which make singing easy and giving you the confidence to get singing and introduce songs – get those endorphins flowing!
Understand the brain science behind the power of singing and the benefits of community singing.
Elizabeth Swift is a Forest School leader and trainer and has been involved in singing since childhood. She runs a range of nature-connected singing events in and around East Anglia, including the outdoor singing group, FireChoir.
Join us for an early supper and singing around the campfire in a beautiful woodland setting. This is available as an individual workshop or can be added to the Forest School and Autism Workshop as the holistic, nurturing finale.
Cost: £55 incl VAT (and supper!).
