Sisal string is three ply and can be split to make 3 thinnner strings.
Sisal, is a hard natural fibre and has excellent resistance to sunlight, little stretch, and good knot-holding ability. It is useful for building constructions and blends well with a woodland environment. It is not safety tested to hold peoples weight and is not suitable for high rope courses and rope swings.
New and untreated sisal rope can be spiky and is best handled with gloves. Sisal must be dry before it is stored away to avoid mildew.
PLEASE NOTE this string may need taping at the ends to prevent it from unraveling
