Loppers - Ratchet with extending handles

These loppers have extending handles that can lock into place over six possible locations. To operate, place the branch in the jaws and close the handles without forcing them. Once you have gone as far as you can, release the handles to allow the ratchet to locate and repeat the operation until the branch is cut.
