These covers have been made especially for these billhooks by a small British leather craft company.

These covers are ideal to protect the billhook and user particularly during transportation. They have clip studs to hold the billhook securely in place. A cheaper alternative is to wrap Hessian around the blade and tie with string this can be a bit time consuming and the Hessian can slip if not tied correctly,also string can get knotted or lost.
